Hello friends, We are attempting to help a family find a foster (or permanent) home for this pup due to illness. If you are interested in fostering please contact dispatch at 207-564-3304 and let the dispatcher know you want to speak to the Greenville officer about fostering the dog and they will get you in touch. I don't have a lot of details at this time but please feel free to contact Officer Reardon and he can help facilitate things. Again we are only attempting to help the family this is not a police matter and we do not currently have the dog in our custody. Thank you! Photo of the pup in comments.

On 09/05/2024 at approximately 6:15 am the police and fire departments responded to the Greenville Consolidated School soccer field for a truck that had flipped over onto its roof. The vehicle was unoccupied and towed from the field with extensive damage. A subsequent investigation revealed that the truck had driven onto the field causing significant damage and flipped over at approximately 9:50 pm on 09/04/2024. The operator was identified and subsequently cooperated with the investigation.

UPDATE: we have found a ride for the family, thank you all so much!

Our prayers go out to both families involved in this accident.

We are working to help reunite the family that had their 5 year old life flighted to Bangor. Currently he is there with his mom while his father and brothers are here in Greenville. Taxi services and Uber at this point are not great options as there are 4 people and some luggage that need to get to Bangor. I told the family I would make arrangements so they could tend to their children and getting better. I am looking for suggestions, ideas or anyone who may want or be able to help! Please comment here or send a message.
