Tune in or set your DVRs to see our town featured on a national stage!

Tonight (May 27, 2026), Greensburg will be featured on Viewpoint with Dennis Quaid, airing on Fox Business at approximately 8:30 PM EST.

Viewpoint is an educational documentary series hosted by actor Dennis Quaid, and this segment highlights many of the people, places, and attractions that make our community special — including the annual Cow Days Festival, Jane Todd Crawford Hospital, Bluff Boom Trails, the Victorian House, Farmer’s Daughter Coffee, Longhunters Tea & Coffee, and Paddle Trail Campground, along with several other local favorites.

The feature also includes Mayor Shuffett, as well as local historians Lanny Tucker and Laura Johnson sharing the rich history and stories of our area.

We have heard that some are saying there is a lot of red tape and hard to set up food trucks in the city limits. That is absolutely the furthest thing from the truth. Food trucks interested in setting up within the city limits we would LOVE to have you! Its an easy TWO step process.

STEP 1: Call city hall to obtain $25.00 business license that last a full year (from date of purchase)
STEP 2: Have permission from the property owner that you set up on. If you need help with contacting the property owner contact Mayor Shuffett, he will be more than happy to help.

Greensburg is growing and we love that!
Cow Days will soon be upon us and with all the development on Industrial Park Road, the first Bike Race being held at Bluff Boom Trails, and the long awaited roundabout construction we have decided its in the best interest and safety of the 5K to have a new course.

Runners should be excited as the entire last 1.1 miles is down hill.

The course will start just like normal at the Woodson Lewis cross walk, then you'll take the sidewalk along the 4 lane, turn left down Bluebird by the Nazerene Church and The Victorian House, left on 61, down to Dandelion (the extension office) left there, left onto Happyville Road, Right onto Old Hodgenville where its all downhill from there! You'll turn right onto main street to the finish.

We will have plenty of first responders/volunteers to ensure safety.

And if you haven't signed up you still have time.
