ISDA Free Soil Sampling Program for Pastures & Hay Fields
The Indiana State Department of Agriculture is once again offering a no‑cost soil sampling program for producers in the Mississippi River Basin.
Soil sampling and testing are the first step in building an effective nutrient management plan. This program is open to pasture, hay, row crop, and specialty crop fields located within Indiana’s portion of the Mississippi River Basin (includes all of southern Indiana).
Selected participants will receive soil sampling and analysis at no cost, along with lab recommendations based on yield goals and soil test results.
The registration window runs February 16–April 8, 2026.
