Above normal temperatures are likely (60-70% chance) to continue into the first week of November. In addition, there is a 40-50% chance of above normal rainfall.

Strong high pressure will continue to prevail over Indiana through the end of the week. Expect seasonably cool mornings with patchy fog and pleasant afternoons near 70 degrees. Calm to light winds through Thursday morning, then a light breeze for the late week.

The autumnal pattern will continue this week, with light winds, seasonably chilly mornings and lovely afternoons highlighting October’s bright blue skies. Chances for early morning fog will increase through the mid-week, with no additional frost expected this week.

Clear skies, and calming winds tonight will allow for even colder temperatures including below freezing temps over northern and eastern portions of central Indiana for the first time this fall. All of central Indiana is within either a Frost Advisory or Freeze Warning for late tonight into tomorrow morning.

After a foggy start to the day, near record warmth is expected today and again tomorrow. Rain chances return Tuesday night and continue off and on through Friday. Frost looks likely for Saturday night.

Skies will clear from west to east today with seasonable temperatures. Warmer weather expected for Monday and Tuesday with near record highs. There may be some fog tonight across eastern Indiana. Rain chances return Tuesday night into Wednesday.

Remnants of Isaias will move into central Indiana this evening into tonight bringing periods of light rain. Overall amounts continue to trend down with total amounts generally less than a quarter inch outside of isolated heavier showers.

Above normal temperatures expected again for today with highs in the middle 70s to middle 80s. Tropical remnants are expected to bring rain and breezy conditions late Saturday into Sunday with heaviest rain across southeast Indiana. With the dry conditions today, be sure to burn responsibly.

Remnants from Hurricane Isaias are expected to move through the Ohio Valley this weekend with the potential for rain amounts up to 2 inches towards southern Indiana. Exact amounts within the range will be dependent on the final track of the remnants.
