Today, we pause to remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the families, first responders, service members, and communities forever changed by that day.

May we never forget the courage, compassion, and unity that emerged in the face of unimaginable tragedy. May we continue to honor those we lost by choosing kindness, standing together, and working toward a community rooted in peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.

Growing up comes with lots of changes and questions. Join us for a FREE, age-appropriate program for girls ages 8–13 and their parent/guardian to learn about puberty in a supportive and welcoming environment. 💗

Krista Perez, PA-C, from Independence Health System OB/GYN – Greensburg, will discuss what to expect, answer questions, and help girls feel more confident about the changes ahead.

This Week of Service, let’s come together to HONOR. REMEMBER. SERVE. ❤️🤍💙

The YWCA Westmoreland County is collecting non-perishable food items to help support local families in need. Every donation, big or small, can make a meaningful difference in our community.

⏰ 9:00 AM–4:00 PM

Please consider picking up a few extra non-perishable items during your next grocery trip and dropping them off to help stock local food resources.

Some ideas to donate:

🍑 Canned fruits & vegetables
🥫 Canned meals (stew, ravioli)
🥜 Peanut butter
🧀 Macaroni & Cheese

Due to the holiday weekend, the YWCA Book Cellar will be CLOSED this Saturday, September 5th.
