Water done a lot of damage. See by the pics a good portion will be replaced and the base repaired with stone and asphalt. Lutterman const is the contractor doing the work. Intersection of Euclid and 4th st. This was the result of the water break yesterday. Water in the area has been restored.

Good Thursday morning City of Greensburg, Thursday, June 11, 2026 wake up little rain overnight not much just a little passing shower. It looks like we might be OK for the rest of the day maybe a chance of a stray shower here and there don’t see nothing big till maybe this afternoon chance of thunderstorms. So as we take a ride through downtown this morning location of fourth Street where we had a very large water main break was a 12 inch line that broke yesterday causing severe damage to the roadway as you can see it’s still closed off. So if you do the cut through from Main St., Euclid Avenue you have a little bit of detours to get around that intersection of fourth and Euclid. They will be there first thing this morning working on that road to get it back up sometime today. Paving will continue on MacArthur and Leamington today. Also a crew will be over on Washington Madison Cleveland St., Milling getting ready for Paving next week in that area. Use caution in those areas or avoid them totally. All right that is what’s happening in the city today. I’ll be back here tomorrow morning and let you know what’s going on. If I get any news about the opening of the intersection at fourth and Euclid, I’ll let you know today. Greensburg have a great Thursday.

Hey, good Wednesday morning City of Greensburg happy happy hump day June 10, 2026 here we are looks like a little bit of rain overnight. Doesn’t look to be too much but still a little bit of rain and there’s a chance of rain most of the day today, low percentage, but a chance. If you’re traveling Southwest Avenue or Grant Street today be aware of Milling going on on those two streets. That should get under way around 6 AM this morning so if you’re traveling in either of those directions use an alternate route and if you do have a vehicle parked on either of those roads , please find alternate parking this morning. All right everybody have a great day today and hopefully the rain stays away. See you tomorrow.

Hey, good Thursday morning City of Greensburg June 4, 2026. This morning our ride takes down Clopper Street off of Maine and College. And as you can see as we come down College Avenue the crew that’s doing the Milling is already here and getting ready to start Milling Clopper Street. The plan is this morning. They’re going to mail it and the Paving company. Tresco will be following right behind them. So definitely you can expect delays and if you can please avoid using Clopper Street most of the day today. The City crew will be finishing up Tremont Avenue today. Looks like starting Monday if the weather holds out, we will start Underwood Avenue. Looks like that may take a few days and then we will finish up at Leamington and MacArthur probably the following week. We do have a crew out picking up brush so if you’re on the list or if you’ve called in this week, hang in there, they’ll get it. All right, everybody enjoy another beautiful Thursday little warmer today at high of about 82 and then about 85 tomorrow .
