of Greensboro! 💚❤️🖤

Today we celebrate Juneteenth, a powerful reminder of freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equity and opportunity for all. As we honor the emancipation of enslaved African Americans, we also recognize that true freedom includes access to education, financial stability, meaningful employment, and the resources needed to thrive.

At the Women's Resource Center of Greensboro, our mission is rooted in empowering individuals and families to achieve self-sufficiency and economic mobility. Through our job-readiness program, financial education, connections to community resources and other supportive services, we aim to help build pathways to opportunity and a stronger, more equitable community.

This Juneteenth, we celebrate the progress made, reflect on the work that remains, and recommit ourselves to creating opportunities that help every woman reach their full potential.

We are so grateful to Legal Aid of North Carolina for not only serving on our volunteer Attorney Hotline, but for hosting wonderful workshops and clinics!

This week women were able to learn about their legal rights and responsibilities through the Tenants' Rights session.
