In the book 1984, George Orwell talked about the state reducing language via Newspeak in his book 1984. By eliminating the very words that come out of children’s mouths and punishing them for thinking certain thoughts, all critical thinking is ultimately abolished, and Big Brother assumes the supreme power to dictate reality – a dictatorship over our very minds.

In an article about Gov. Rick Perry and drafting him as a Presidential Candidate, examples are given as to why Texas is so far ahead of other States in economic development.

Voters of all political stripes will be receptive to a story about low taxes, restrained spending, reasonable regulations and a fair legal system. He doesn’t just understand that story — he wrote the book. The nation is primed to listen.

Hard work pays off. Sometimes not in the ways we'd like, but positive things always happen. We should celebrate a huge victory!

We lost. But we can hardly contain our optimism for the future of our State. The Consolation Prize for running a competitive race, for forcing the Democrats to compete in Guilford County, making them spend their time, energy, and treasure on Guilford races, especially District 27, has given us a gr

We've been working the polls extremely hard this morning and afternoon. Lots of activity! You have to find Jeff's dad out there shaking hands at the polls. "Hey, I'm Jeff Hyde's dad, and I'd appreciate a vote for my son." We had 'em rolling today!

1. VOTE! if you haven't already voted please do so and take all of your like minded family and friends with you. Turn out is critical to the election of Candidates like Jeff Hyde in districts where the Democrat Incumbent has an advantage in party voter registration. Only 25% of District 27 is Re

Hammer writes, "Vaughan says he helped cut $3 billion from the state budget. It's hard
to know where that cut was because, in the midst of this recession,
Vaughan voted for the state budget that increased spending and
increased the number of state employees." This is funny math.

Republican Jeff Hyde, who is running against Vaughan in District 27, is one of the founders of the local Tea Party group. He said they started meeting in somebody's living room but quickly outgrew it, and then had a tax day rally with a couple thousand folks.

I think plainspoken is a compliment. Hyde "considers lower taxes for all businesses the best form of incentive. He
sees government as an inhibitor, not an enabler for business and job
creation." TRUE.

Thursday, October 28, 2010. The Local Greensboro paper, the News and Record has endorsed incumbent Senator Don Vaughan for District 27. This is no surprise. What is surprising is the statements about our Candidate, Jeff Hyde.
