Women United, please join us for TWO awesome volunteer opportunities! Read below to learn more and visit unitedwaygso.org/volunteer to sign up.

FAMILY SUCCESS CENTER DRIVE: Members of United Way’s Family Success Centers always appreciate a little extra help purchasing items for their families that they cannot buy with food stamps, Medicaid, or health insurance spending accounts. The majority of our members are women, most heading single-parent households, and they struggle with period poverty. This term describes the inequities related to menstruation and is a challenge both locally and globally. Please consider hosting a drive by July 30 to support members of our Family Success Center!

SUMMER HANDBAG DRIVE: Looking for a fun and safe way to make a difference for local families? Host a Summer Handbag Drive! Collect gently used designer handbags in your neighborhood, faith community or with friends or co-workers to help United Way END poverty.
