Today, we celebrate 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲, a day to honor the strength, resilience, and brilliance of transgender people in North Carolina, across the country, and around the globe. 🏳️‍⚧️⁣

Visibility matters. Representation matters. And in a time when transgender communities are being targeted, showing up loudly and proudly matters more than ever.⁣

𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰? The North Carolina Democratic Party made history as the 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 to establish a Transgender Caucus; a powerful step toward ensuring trans voices are not just heard, but centered in the fight for equality. This is what progress looks like, but it’s only the first of many steps. ⁣
