Announcing this year's Summer Reading Club!

Join us this summer as we Unearth a Story! Between June 22 and August 7, adults, teens, and children can join the Summer Reading Club in person and online through the link below.

You can use the READsquared app, available online or through the App Store and the Google Play store, to log your books, eBooks, and audiobooks. Earn raffle tickets as you log books for a chance to win prizes! Teens and children can also log their books in person and check out our immersive decorations!

Plus, stay tuned for themed events and the return of the Suffolk County Summer Reading Tour!

Cars & Coffee is back for 2026!

Do you own a classic car? On Sunday, June 14 between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM, drive it over to our Cars & Coffee gathering! Reserved parking will be available in the Library’s Broadway Circular Driveway, with additional spots in the Wyckoff side lot. Enjoy coffee, light refreshments, and great conversation with fellow car enthusiasts. A suggested donation of $10 to the Friends of the Library helps support future programs. Check the Library website for weather updates. All are welcome!

On Wednesday, June 10 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM, adults can learn how to make a beautiful felted bird!

Local artist Michele Miroff will walk you through this calming craft. All materials provided. Online only registration for Harborfields Library cardholders begins Tuesday, June 2 at 10:00 AM. Fee: $25.

Join us for the Boat America course, taking place on Saturday, June 6 and 13 between 12:00 and 4:00 PM!

This Certification course meets the MANDATORY requirements under Brianna’s Law for boats and jetski/PWC for all Operators as of January 1, 2025. Upon successful completion, you will have met the requirements and can operate a boat and/or jetski. You will receive a certificate (often incorrectly referred to as a NYS Boating License or jetski license) upon successful completion of this course. An instruction book is provided when you arrive at the class. The certificate will be received the last day of class.

This Boat America Course is being given by the USCG Auxiliary. Please bring a check made out USCG Aux 22-01 on the first day of the class. Fee: $40.00. Registration is required and underway.

Feel free to stop by for one or more of these fun activities with your little ones. No registration is necessary, and siblings are welcome! Adults must accompany children.

With successful completion of the six-hour National Point & Insurance Reduction Course you may receive 10% off Auto Insurance each year for up to three years. It may reduce up to four points off your driving record.

Bring your $35 check payable to SUFFOLK SAFETY to the class. Please register online, in-person, or by calling the Library.
