🚒🚨 New Vehicle In Service!

Greenland Fire is excited to announce that our new Utility 1 is in service. This 2025 Ford F-350 was purchased last fall with grant funds from the Pattony Foundation, and was recently upfitted by New England Vehicle Outfitters in Newington.

This vehicle is equipped for towing equipment trailers, bringing personnel to emergency scenes or training, completing routine department business, and bringing dirty or contaminated hose and gear back to the station for cleaning.

Thank you to the Pattony Foundation for your support in keeping the citizens of Greenland safe.

The Town Hall and Fire Station are currently experiencing a complete outage of phone and internet service. 🚫☎️

Calls placed to the main fire department number (603-436-1188) will still reach our automated menu but will not ring through to the station. For routine business, you can call and leave a voicemail for the appropriate person or function and we will receive your message via email on mobile devices and we will respond as soon as possible.

SLOW DOWN, MOVE OVER. It’s the law!

As the beautiful summer weather sets in and the weekend traffic increases, we will also see more emergencies on New Hampshire’s highways.

We would like to remind everyone traveling on the interstates and other highways that NH Law requires motorists to slow down and move over, leaving an extra lane of space for stopped emergency vehicles.

These photos, taken at an incident on I-95 this morning, demonstrate what this should and shouldn’t look like.

Please help us make sure everyone gets to go home safely from their travels this summer.

At the Seacoast Chief Fire Officers Mutual Aid District meeting on Thursday, June 4th, 2026. Greenland Deputy Chief Ralph Cresta received a presidential service award for his work with the organization, especially in organizing the Association’s annual golf tournament an event that has raised over 100k for firefighter training in the past few years. Please join us in congratulating Ralph on this well-earned recognition of his service to the region.
