The kids aren’t the only ones excited for summer break!😄
Our School Resource Officers, Officer Susan Tobergte and Officer Anthony White, seem just as excited as the students as the school year comes to an end!

During their first year serving the schools, both officers did an outstanding job building relationships, mentoring students, supporting staff, and helping create a safe and positive environment throughout the school year. Their impact has truly been appreciated by the students, staff, and community.

Even better news… THEY’RE COMING BACK!

Thank you, Susan and Anthony, for your dedication, professionalism, and the positive difference you continue to make each and every day. Enjoy the summer — you’ve earned it! And thank you, Winton Woods City Schools, for allowing us to serve.

Great event today at the Early Childhood Central Campus for Touch-a-Truck!

Despite a little rain to start, it didn’t slow anyone down—and it turned into a wonderful day filled with smiles, excitement, and lots of hands-on fun. The kids had a great time exploring the vehicles and meeting everyone.

Thank you to Winton Woods for including us—we always appreciate the opportunity to connect with the community!

Last night, we had the honor of celebrating Sergeant Tony Patton at the Village Council meeting as he prepares for his well-earned retirement after more than 38 years of service to the Greenhills community.

Mayor Dave Moore presented Sgt. Patton with a formal proclamation recognizing his decades of dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to public service. In addition, Sgt. Patton was honored with a proclamation from Congressman Warren Davidson, further highlighting the impact of his distinguished career.

As a lasting tribute, the Village (through private donations) will be placing a park bench in Town Park in Sgt. Patton’s honor—a place where his legacy of service can be remembered for years to come.

Sgt. Patton has truly embodied what it means to be a public servant. We thank him for his service, his leadership, and his commitment to making Greenhills a safer and stronger community.

Congratulations, Tony—you’ve earned it!

Building Bridges continues to make an impact.

This past Sunday, we had another outstanding session—proving once again that when you adapt, great things can happen.

With many of our participants being Winton Woods football players, their camp schedule ran until 3:45 p.m., which would have prevented them from attending our originally planned 2:00 p.m. session. So, we called an audible—and it paid off in a big way. We met after camp in the locker room, and I’d say that audible resulted in a touchdown.

The conversation, engagement, and fellowship were exceptional. A special thank you to our guest speakers—Chris Macklin for sharing insight on mental health, Jared Lugenbill for discussing opportunities and recruitment, and Antonio Spicer for continuing to help lead and connect with our youth.

Moments like this are what Building Bridges is all about—meeting our young people where they are, listening, engaging, and building relationships that matter.

We’re proud of what this program continues to become.

After more than 38 years of dedicated service to the Village of Greenhills, Sergeant Tony Patton will be retiring on May 5th.

On Tuesday, April 21st, at 7:00 p.m., Sergeant Patton will be recognized at the Village Council meeting, where Mayor Moore will present him with a proclamation honoring his distinguished career and unwavering commitment to our community.

We invite all residents, friends, and colleagues to join us in celebrating Tony’s remarkable service. His impact on this department and this community spans more than three decades, and this is a well-deserved opportunity to show our appreciation.

Please come out and help us thank Sergeant Patton for a lifetime of service to Greenhills.
