The Greenhills Police Department is proud to announce the promotion of Officer Andy Moore to the rank of Sergeant, effective today, June 8, 2026. Andy was officially sworn in by Mayor Moore (no relation) this afternoon.
For the past 20 years, Andy has faithfully served the residents of Greenhills with integrity, professionalism, and a strong commitment to public service. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a genuine desire to make a positive impact within the department and the community.
As Sergeant, Andy will take on additional leadership responsibilities and play an important role in guiding the department into the future. We are confident he will continue to serve the Village of Greenhills with the same dedication, professionalism, and commitment that have defined his distinguished career.
Please join us in congratulating Sergeant Andy Moore on this well-deserved promotion and thanking him for his 20 years of dedicated service to our community. We wish him continued success in his new role.
A ceremonial swearing-in will take place at a future Village of Greenhills Council meeting.

Damon Road Project: Effective Monday, June 8th, Damon Road, from Winton Road to Springdale Road, will be closed to through traffic while crews complete curb work prior to repaving. All Springdale Road traffic will be diverted to Cromwell Road. Please plan ahead, avoid the area if possible, and use an alternate route.

The Greenhills swimming pool is closed today, Thursday, May 28th. If you plan to go to the pool tomorrow, Friday, the 29th, we encourage you to call ahead to see if it has reopened. 513-825-0288.
