Women's Resource Center of Hancock County, Inc.

Women's Resource Center of Hancock County, Inc. We are a non-profit who helps empower women. By providing this service to women we help make them strong, ready to face life’s challenges.

Our mission is to provide mentoring, guidance, and connection to programs and services that help women and their families achieve economic self sufficiency. Founded in 2014, the Women’s Resource Center was born out of the work of the Women’s Fund of Hancock County, Indiana and with their continued grant funding. We help women navigate life's hurdles, access community services, develop new skill se

ts, and move their lives forward, one step at a time, enabled through a close mentoring relationship with built-in accountability checkpoints. When a woman is strong, so too is her family, her neighborhood, and her entire community.

We would like to take a moment and begin recognizing the faces behind the Women’s Resource Center. Each has unique qualities that help the Women's Resource Center advance its work of equipping women to achieve purpose, fulfillment, and financial stability.

What is our Personal Care Pantry?

Our personal care pantry provides free essential hygiene and personal care items to women in need. These pantries focus on meeting basic self-care needs, such as toiletries, clothing, and sanitary products, to help people maintain dignity and health while facing financial or other hardships.

We are very much IN NEED of items and are reaching out to our community for help. If you feel led to donate, please contact us or feel free to come in and drop items off Monday-Thursday.

We’re collecting donations for our Women’s Personal Care Pantry to support women in our community who may be struggling to access everyday essentials.

These item’s can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life. These are basic needs, but they’re often the hardest to afford.

If you’re able to give, your donation—big or small—will help ensure dignity, comfort, and care for those women who need it most.

Thank you for being part of something that truly matters 💛

Please drop off any donations to 312 E. Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140. If you have any questions please email [email protected] or call 317-477-1959.

The Women’s Resource Center SHE-ro Campaign is a meaningful way to celebrate and support the incredible women making a difference in our community. Every dollar donated goes toward nominating a special woman whose work is creating real impact, while also giving back to the Women’s Resource Center to continue their important mission.

Don’t miss the chance to be part of it—the last day to contribute is April 20!
