Don't miss out on a great way to support 4-H and FFA while securing some great laying hens! Our annual chicken sale will be held on September 19th at the Greene County Fairgrounds. First lots will sell at 11:00am and ALL proceeds go to the students who raised each hen. We hope to see you there!

A great showing by our 4-H Forestry Teams at the Eastern Region Championships. Our senior high team finished as the 5th overall team in East Tennessee with team member, Samuel Williams, finishing as the 9th overall high schooler. Anakin Schofield finished as the 9th overall middle schooler while Ollivander Schofield finished as the 5th overall elementary schooler as well!

Last week was the Eastern Region Grill Master Challenge! Greene County had four participants, and two finished in the top 10 of their division!

Greene County was well represented at the Tennessee State Fair. 4-H’ers from all over the county were able to join us for the Tennessee 4-H Picnic at the Fair. This event supports scholarships for 4-H camps all over the state. These students also got to hear from Governor Bill Lee and other stake holders about the great impact 4-H had on their lives. We are thankful to the Greene County Farm Bureau for providing a sponsorship to allow this great opportunity!

4-H Forestry for this afternoon will be cancelled. All participants should be studying in the meantime, and we will catch up at the next practice on 8/18.
