Too many rural Tennesseans are falling in the gaps of our healthcare system. Expansion of Medicaid would help the working poor access to needed medical care and medications. Insurance simply costs too much. We need to regulate the insurance and pharmaceutical industries.

Thank you to EVERYONE for a very well attended Evening with State Representative Gloria Johnson. We may need a bigger phone booth! A special thank you to State Representative Gloria Johnson for taking the time out of your busy schedule to come speak to us and provide a truthful legislative update.

We are so happy to welcome State Representative Gloria Johnson back to Greene County!

Per an article released by WGRV, David Hawk provided a legislative update to the Greene County Republican Party, he is of the opinion that there are only a handful of liberals in Greene County and that we meet in a telephone booth every few months. Come on out and join us as we send a message to him and all of the leadership of Tennessee that we are here and we will continue to hold them accountable for their actions each and every day.

Join the Greene County Democratic Party and the Greene County Democratic Women’s Club for an exciting evening with State Representative Gloria Johnson. June is Healthcare Initiative Month. Gloria will be providing us with a legislative update on the bills coming through Nashville and how they will affect Tennesseans and our healthcare! Also, please bring canned spam or canned luncheon meat to benefit My Neighbor's House!

After the presentation, homemade cookies and lemonade will served to allow for a meet and greet with Gloria Johnson.

Follow the blue line around the courtyard to the Main Entrance. Look for the Greene County Democratic Party signs. Upon entering the building, you will see the Lyceum directly ahead of you.
