It was a great day of learning, sharing, and celebrating literacy at Walters State Community College! We were excited to have several Greeneville City Schools educators represented at this year’s conference.
The keynote speaker was Coach Ken Carter, whose inspiring story was the basis for the movie Coach Carter!
GCS was represented by Dr. Kristi Witt from Kathryn Leonard, who served on the conference committee, along with presenters Dr. Jason Horne, Shelia Newland, Brandy Shelton, and Kimberly Foulks from Greeneville Middle School.
And of course, Jordan Craft and Mr. George brought along the Book Bus!
We’re proud of our GCS team for sharing their knowledge, connecting with other educators, and continuing to promote a love of reading in our schools and community!
