Follow this awesome campaign over the next 8 weeks to make sure you’re staying safe on your ride!

Make sure to share as well for a chance to win gift certificate to Downtown Greendale!

The Village of Greendale is launching Take Charge of Your Ride, a safety campaign focused on promoting safe and responsible e-bike and e-scooter use in our community.

Over the next eight weeks, we’ll be sharing information about helmet safety, where you can ride, sharing paths, battery safety and more.

Week 1: Know Your Ride

E-bike, e-scooter or mini-bike? They may look similar, but different vehicles have different rules.

Before you ride, know what type of vehicle you have, where you can operate it and what safety requirements apply. Knowing your ride is the first step toward riding safely and responsibly.

Learn more and view safety materials at: greendale.org/ebikes

🎉 Take charge & win! Help spread the word about safe riding! Share one of our campaign posts publicly using for a chance to win a $20 Downtown Greendale gift certificate. Five winners will be randomly selected at the end of the campaign.

Thank you so much Wisconsin Chapter - National Fire Sprinkler Association!

Fire Sprinkler Demonstration!

Our friends from the Wisconsin Chapter - National Fire Sprinkler Association conducted a side-by-side fire sprinkler demonstration at the Greendale Fire Department open house on Saturday. Fires were ignited in two rooms. The fire in the room on the right was quickly contained by a single sprinkler head, while the room on the left - which was not equipped with fire sprinklers - was destroyed.

What an amazing weekend at our Annual Fire & Police Open House! 🚒👮‍♂️

We can’t begin to thank everyone who came out and helped make this year’s event so special! A very special thank you to all of our amazing vendors who joined us, as well as the generous donors who provided raffle prizes and treats to help us raise funds for the Greendale Firefighters Charitable Foundation.

This year was especially meaningful as it was the first year we were able to raise funds for our new charitable foundation! These funds will help support families in our community who have faced tragic events, as well as firefighters and their families who may be in need.

Every donation, contribution, and helping hand has helped move our mission forward, and we truly can’t thank you enough for your support!

We’re already looking forward to seeing everyone again next year!

Yesterday's crew had the pleasure of showing the truck and getting some tug of war in at the Gladstone block party! The rain cleared up just in time. Thanks for the invitation and the hospitality! PSA... there are a lot of hornet nests out there this year. If you have 1 or multiple hornet nests, don't try to remove them on your own! Wishing you all a safe.end of summer!

Wow! We are extremely grateful to Carl from Eagle Scout Troop 506 for his incredible Eagle Scout project!

Carl built our firefighters a gear dryer that will help us properly dry our jackets, pants, boots, hoods, and gloves after calls and training. This is an amazing addition to our firehouse and something our firefighters will be able to use for years to come!

A huge thank you to Carl and all of his sponsors who helped make this project come to life. We truly appreciate your generosity, hard work, and support of our firefighters!

Thank you, Carl! We are so grateful for you and Troop 506! 👏
