Rescue Hose Company No. 1 of Greencastle, PA

Rescue Hose Company No. 1 of Greencastle, PA Providing Professional Fire, Rescue, EMS Services for the Residents of Greencastle, PA.

Located at the intersection of a north-south interstate (I-81), heavily traveled east-west (PA Route 16) and north-south
(PA Route 11) highways, this department provides fire protection
and emergency medical services to its residents and visitors during a variety of incident types. Because of easy access and its proximity to major population areas, this has become a choice location for residential and
industrial growth. Truck stops, shipping and distribution centers, heavy manufacturing and commercial facilities dot the first
due - as do apartment and townhouse complexes and single family dwellings. No matter the occupancy or hazard, this
organization and its personnel respond to the situation with professionalism and expertise. Offering residents and customers fire suppression, emergency medical services, rescue, extrication, and hazardous materials operations response, constant familiarization and training with new technologies ensure successful service outcomes. Serving
the residents of Greencastle and Antrim township for more than 100 years, the department is meeting
the difficult demands of today's volunteer fire service and planning for its future.
