Did you know there’s a new Florida law (SB 1070) focused on keeping student athletes’ hearts safe? One way schools are helping is by offering heart screenings.

🩺 What’s an EKG?
An EKG (electrocardiogram) is a quick, painless test that checks how your heart beats and works. Small stickers are placed on your chest, arms, and legs to record your heart’s rhythm.
➡️ No needles
➡️ No running
➡️ Takes just a few minutes

This screening is only for 8th grade students and can help find heart issues before they become a problem—especially for students who play sports.
