🌎 On World Food Day, Gulfstream Goodwill Industries recognizes the importance of ensuring our seniors have access to nutritious food, safe housing, and essential resources.

Through our Out & About Senior Prevention initiative, we recently partnered with Federation of Families of Florida,inc., South Bay Parks & Recreation, and Palm Beach Harvest Inc. to support seniors in the Glades, with the valued support of South Bay Commissioner Barbara King, City Manager Leondrae D. Camel, Parks & Recreation Director King Kindred, and Wellcare.

We are grateful for these partnerships that help address food insecurity, promote housing stability, and ensure seniors can live with dignity and independence.

Our Good Grub team had the exciting opportunity to take part in the 2026 Wild Game Dinner in Fort Pierce, joining local cooks from across the Treasure Coast for one unforgettable evening.

Our team stepped into the kitchen and put their culinary skills to work, preparing and serving gator for guests while gaining valuable hands-on experience at one of the Treasure Coast’s biggest wild game events.

Every child deserves moments where they can simply be a kid.

Children staying at Melissa’s Place Housing Resource Center, operated by Gulfstream Goodwill Industries, recently enjoyed a special movie night filled with snacks, laughter and time to simply have fun.

For children experiencing homelessness, moments like these can bring comfort and a sense of normalcy during an uncertain time. As their families work toward stability, activities like movie night give kids an opportunity to enjoy themselves, connect with others and make positive memories along the way.

Through our Housing Our Heroes program, we are proud to support local veterans in need by providing essential items and connecting them with resources that can help create greater stability.

As part of this effort, participants from Capabilities of the Palm Beaches came together to assemble bags filled with essential items. Their involvement provided a meaningful opportunity for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to give back and make a difference in their community.

We are grateful to our partners at Stand Down and Cigna for helping make this initiative possible. A special thank you to Right at Home, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for joining us in supporting local veterans, and to The Salvation Army of Palm Beach County, FL for partnering with us on this important effort.

Finding moments of joy during difficult times. 💙

Guests at Melissa’s Place, a shelter operated by Gulfstream Goodwill Industries, recently enjoyed an Adults Paint N Chat, taking time away from the challenges of experiencing homelessness to paint, connect and simply enjoy the moment.

While the journey toward stability can be difficult, moments like these bring creativity, laughter and connection to the individuals we serve, reminding us that even during challenging times, there is always room for a little joy.

💙 Last night, Gulfstream Goodwill gathered at Waterway Cafe to celebrate and thank the incredible partners whose generosity and support helped make our 2026 Drive to Provide such a success. Their commitment continues to strengthen our mission and our work to address homelessness and expand affordable housing opportunities across our community.

And now, we are looking ahead to Drive to Provide 2027!

This January 13, 2027, we return to the Lake Pavilion in downtown West Palm Beach for another unforgettable evening featuring luxury cars, live music, exciting auctions, and a community coming together for a greater purpose.

There is still time to be part of Drive to Provide 2027. Sponsorship opportunities are available to help create lasting change for individuals and families in our community.

This week, we are proud to celebrate Direct Support Professionals Week and recognize the dedicated team members across Gulfstream Goodwill Industries who provide direct support, guidance, care, and encouragement to the people we serve.

Across our programs, Direct Support Professionals help individuals build skills, gain independence, find stability, overcome barriers, and move toward their goals. Their compassion and dedication make a meaningful difference every day.

To show our appreciation, students from the Good Grub Culinary Program at the Career Academy of the Palm Beaches prepared freshly baked cookies for our team.

Thank you to every Direct Support Professional at GGI for the difference you make in the lives of the individuals we serve! 💙
