Green River Urban Renewal/Main Street Agency The name of a community revitalization program begun by the National Trust for Historic Preservation in the late 1970s.

Main Street focuses on a holistic approach to revitalization based on the "4-point" approach of Design, Promotion, Economic Restructuring, and Organization. Originally targeted at small, traditional downtowns, over the years the program expanded to include towns of various sizes and now even includes neighborhood districts in several large urban centers.

We’re calling all trailblazers, outdoor lovers, and community champions!

Our 2026 Second Saturdays Volunteer Program is gearing up to make a difference! Each month on the second saturday, we’ll join forces to build, maintain, and improve the trails that make Green River such an incredible place to explore and live.

⚒️ No experience needed! Just bring your energy, a pair of gloves, and a love for our local outdoors. We’ll supply tools, guidance, and a great crew of people who care about keeping our trails beautiful and safe.
