Celebrate our Firefighters with Firefighter Appreciation Day at the GMF Fire Station from 11 AM - 2 PM.

Bring the kids for Touch a Truck, Sparky the Firedog, Pedro the Preparedness Penguin and so much more! Invite your family, friends, and neighbors to enjoy a hot dog/brat lunch.

Firefighters will offer tours of our beautiful firehouse and educate us on fire preparedness.

The GMF Fire Mitigation Advisory Committee will have valuable mitigation information and ways to protect properties.

Units arrived quickly from both our GMF and Chipita Park Stations

The fire was limited to one wall.

Heads up!

Scammers are making their way around communities

People are walking around neighborhoods impersonating the fire department.

They said the people are claiming that there have been changes to state or county wildfire codes and are trying to convince residents to purchase fire mitigation equipment.

While mitigating wildfires is encouraged, it is not required.

Anyone who claims that residents would be fined or penalized in any way is attempting to mislead them.
