On April 27, 2026, Green Creek Fire was invited to attend a drill along with Cape May Court House Fire and Stone Harbor Fire, at the Cape May County Fire Academy. Green Creek was utilized as the RIT Team, with scenarios consisting of live burns, with victims and downed firefighters.

On April 8th and 22nd, Green Creek members took advantage of the spring weather, and performed SCBA training. The fire company has two stacked "conex" boxes on site, with numerous props and changeable obstacles. Firefighters trained on search and rescue of persons and downed firefighters, as well as mayday scenarios, and RIT operations. If you would like information on joining our team of volunteers, we are at the firehouse every Wednesday night after 6:30 pm, if you would like to stop by and get information.

02/11/2026, Green Creek Fire Company, along with Villas and Cape May Court House Fire Companies, held an Ice Rescue Drill, at a local gravel pit, off of Route 47 in Green Creek. The training was a great success, and involved different rescue scenarios, utilizing different techniques and equipment, ensuring our menbers will be ready, in the event of a cold weather emergency. At approxamitlty 1800 Rio Grande and Green Creek Fire along with MTPD and Atlanticare EMS were dispatch to the 4000 block of US 9 for a MVC with entrapment and fire. Chief 72 arrived on scene and reported one male heavily entrapped. The fire had been extingushed prior to fire department arrival. Both companies went into service with extrication tools and freed the drive. The driver was airlifted to ARMC for further care.

On Wednesday, February 19th, around 8:49 a.m., Green Creek Fire Company was dispatched on a First Alarm for a commercial structure fire on Shunpike Road in Cape May Court House. In Station 70-71 first due area. The fire required a response from multiple mutual aid fire departments throughout Cape May County. Squad 73, Engine 73 and Tanker 73 responded. Along with units from Station 62,13,74,18,60,2-2.
