💚 What a day of love and community! 💚

Yesterday’s Community Care Day was a true reflection of God’s goodness.

The Food Pantry of Green Cove Springs had an incredible time serving alongside Mt. Zion AME Church and so many amazing organizations — all united in Christ’s love and service.

🎲 We laughed and played games with the kids
📸 We shared fun photos with our Loaf & Fish props
💪 And we left with hearts full and more than 1800 lbs of food to bless families in need!

We believe with all our hearts that yesterday was Jesus multiplying the bread — just like when He fed the 5,000.
It was a day of miracles, connection, and compassion.

Thank you, Mt. Zion AME Church, for your love and support for our community.

🌟 The Food Pantry of Green Cove Springs is excited to support Community Care Day this Saturday! 🌟

This Saturday, June 6th from 10 AM to 4 PM, we’ll be joining our friends at Mt. Zion AME Church at Vera Francis Hall Park for a beautiful day of service, love, and community care.

We’ll be bringing fun for the whole family, including:
🎲 Games for kids of all ages
📸 Fun photo moments with our Loaf & Fish props
💚 Smiles, encouragement, and community connection

Community Care Day will also offer incredible free services like mammograms, podiatry, children’s dental care, food, music, and book bag giveaways — all focused on serving our neighbors with dignity and love.

We’re grateful to stand alongside Mt. Zion and so many partners who believe in lifting up our community.

Today we stopped by Elks Lodge 1892 to pick up a generous check, and once again we were reminded of how faithfully they have stood with The Food Pantry of Green Cove Springs over the years.

To express our gratitude, we presented them with a Pantry Angel Certificate and a Pantry Angel Pin — small tokens of appreciation for the many ways they have blessed our mission. These gifts symbolize the heart behind their support: steady generosity, true partnership, and a deep commitment to serving families in our community.

Fresh Zucchini Donation from — M4 Farms

We are grateful for another blessing today at the Food Pantry of Green Cove Springs.
Our friends at M4 Farms, Cross Middleton and Sydney Whitehurst generously donated 85 pounds of fresh zucchini, providing healthy, nourishing produce for the families we serve.

We thank God for partners who sow into our community with open hands and generous hearts. Every gift like this helps us continue feeding our neighbors with dignity, love, and hope.

We were blessed with a beautiful donation today!
Our friends at Clay High School FFA, Taylor Gheen and Maggie Mosley delivered 200 pounds of fresh potatoes to the Food Pantry of Green Cove Springs.

This generous gift helps us continue feeding families with healthy, nourishing produce — and it reflects the heart of our community’s young leaders who show up with kindness and purpose.

We are so grateful for the Clay High FFA students who put in the work, grow with intention, and give back with joy.

What an incredible day we had at RiverFest Green Cove Springs 2026
Our Food Pantry team showed up with full hearts, and the United States Coast Guard volunteers were absolutely amazing as they served right alongside our Pantry volunteers all day long.

Together, we passed out flyers, shared information about the services available to families in Clay County, and connected with so many wonderful people in our community.

And the fun didn’t stop there — the kids had a blast with our games, the Zaxby’s raffle brought lots of excitement, and the biggest hit of the day was definitely the ice pops. It was a hot Florida day, and those ice pops brought smiles to kids and parents alike.

We also loved seeing families pose with our Loaves & Fish props, pineapple, and watermelon sunglasses — the perfect summer vibe. The photos are full of joy, laughter, and community spirit.

We are so grateful for everyone who stopped by, volunteered, or supported us. Days like this remind us how strong and caring our Clay County community truly is.

💙 Thank you, Coast Guard team. Thank you, Pantry volunteers. Thank you, Green Cove Springs.
