The Green Cove Springs Police Department initiated an investigation after receiving a tip regarding an individual allegedly in possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).

During the course of the investigation, detectives developed probable cause and obtained a search warrant for a residence located at 1606 Elsie Street in Green Cove Springs.

This morning, with the assistance of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Clay County Sheriff's Office, investigators executed the search warrant. As a result of the investigation, 21 year old Antony Bonilla Sutuj was found to be in possession of multiple images depicting CSAM.

Bonilla Sutuj was arrested and transported to the Clay County Jail.

We were simply following suggestions from our last "Attempt To Identify" post about using AI to clear up the photos. Our goal is to always conduct a thorough investigation with any and all gathered information.

On Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at approximately 9 PM, video footage from the Library (403 Ferris St.) captured this subject taking a bicycle from the bike rack. The bicycle has a blue and black frame.

If you have a child between the ages of 12–15 who is interested in law enforcement or the military, this is an incredible opportunity for them!
Northeast Florida Camp Cadet offers a free, one-week summer camp each year where cadets get hands-on experience learning from local law enforcement officers and military members.
Throughout the week, participants will be introduced to key topics such as leadership, teamwork, and discipline. The camp is designed to challenge cadets both physically and mentally, helping them build confidence, develop strong leadership skills, and grow in a supportive and structured environment.

Last week, our department received information regarding fi****ms being brought onto a vessel and left behind. Through the efforts of our Marine Unit and with the owner's consent to board and inspect the boat, officers located and seized two illegal fi****ms. One firearm was determined to be homemade, while the other was an illegally modified sawed-off shotgun.

In addition to the weapons, officers discovered a puppy that had been abandoned on the vessel without access to food or water. The puppy was safely rescued and is now receiving the care it deserves.

This testament of our strong community partnerships and the value of reporting suspicious activity. Because someone spoke up, illegal weapons were removed from our community and an innocent animal was given a second chance.

If you see something suspicious, say something. Working together, we can continue to keep our community safe—both on land and on the water.
