This weekend, members of the Brown County Dems team attended the 2026 WisDems Convention in Madison for training, networking, and Fall '26 election prep. This was an incredible opportunity to collaborate with Dems from across the state and get fired up for what comes next.

Brown County Petition Alert 🚨
The Migration Advocacy Network of Brown County has drafted a petition to request that the Brown County Board of Supervisors demand transparency from the Sheriff's office regarding its cooperation with ICE.

287(g) agreements are being used nationwide to permit state and local law enforcement to perform immigration-enforcement functions in collaboration with ICE. Unfortunately, activity related to those agreements is not always clear or available, and that seems to be the case right here in Brown County. This petition requests monthly updates from our Sheriff about the nature of their immigration detainment activities and the cost to Brown County.

Transparency is a reasonable ask.

Petition to Establish Transparency Around Federal Immigration Detainers

Dylan Helmenstine, one of the Democratic candidates for State Treasurer, will be hosting an announcement for his newest public education initiative Tuesday morning, 6/9/26, starting at 10am.

Location: City Stadium Gates on the 200 block of Baird Street. The gates are right next to East High School at 1415 E Walnut St, Green Bay.

Dylan will be joined by Representative Ryan Spaude as well as members of the Green Bay School Board.
