Winter Storage at the Brown County Fairgrounds

Wednesday, October 21, 2026 7:00am to 3:00pm

Are you looking for a spot to store your boat, trailer or motor home for the winter? We have the solution for you. Store your items at the Brown County Fairgrounds. Storage is handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Fees are collected when items are brought in.

Park Staff will accept items on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 7am – 3pm. Based on availability, staff will accept items on Thursday and Friday. Contact the Brown County Parks Office at (920) 448 6242 to check availability or visit our page.

Please note that there is no access to your stored item from the time it is put into storage until spring removal. Spring removal dates are Saturday, April 10, 2027, from 9am to 3pm, and Sunday, April 11, 2027, from 11am-1pm. A $10.00 fee will be charged per day for items not removed by Sunday, April 11, 2027.

Brown County shall not be responsible for any damage or injury that may happen to the renter or his property from any cause whatsoever. For protection of your property while in storage, we suggest you contact your insurance agent.

FIRE SAFETY WEEK 🔥

During Fire Safety Week, we want to remind everyone to charge batteries safely and practice battery safety when buying, charging, using, and recycling batteries.

- Use the correct charger.

- Never charge on a bed or under a pillow.

- Keep batteries away from heat and flammable items.

- If a battery smokes, sparks, or catches fire: Get out, stay out, and call 911.

We also want to take this opportunity to thank all of the Fire Departments that serve the citizens of Brown County. Your dedication and service help keep our communities safe!

⚠ Fox River State Recreational Trail Construction Closure Notice 🚧

(Brown County, WI) Brown County Parks will be closing two sections of the Fox River State Trail this week. The contractor will be finalizing recent asphalt work by painting the centerline and adding gravel shoulders. These sections of the trail will be closed to all traffic during the dates listed below.

• Fox Point Boat Launch crossing to the State Highway 172 bridge
Closed on Wednesday and Thursday, October 7-8, 2026.

• Heritage Road north to Bomier Street
Closed on Wednesday and Thursday, October 7-8, 2026.

Trail users should plan an alternate route during these closures, as no detour will be marked.
