We are thrilled to finally share our big news! Curative Connections will be one of the participating nonprofits for the 2026 season of New Dancing with Our Stars. Dancing on behalf of Curative Connections is Sam McIntyre!!! Sam, an M3 Client Executive, has been involved with Curative Connections professionally for years and is our bourbon connoisseur when the Garden Gala rolls around. Sam shared his passion for our organization saying, "Curative Connections provides the bridge between a life altering diagnosis and a life of dignity." We can't wait to see Sam on stage! ✨

This week we celebrated National Volunteer Month at the Volunteer Center of Brown County's Volunteer Awards with some of our program volunteers. We couldn’t let National Volunteer Week end without shouting out all of our incredible volunteers for all that they do.

Our program volunteers build connections and help enrich the member experience. Our event volunteers help us pull off our annual events and reach more community members. Our transportation volunteers help us provide an essential service to the Green Bay area at an affordable rate and are the first point of connection with our members. Thank you all for your dedication to Curative Connections and for believing in our mission.

Yesterday, Curative Connections President and CEO, Jeanne Stangel informed the board of directors of her decision to retire at the end of 2026. This was a personal decision rooted in the desire to spend more time with her loved ones, family, and grandkids. We are so grateful for her leadership and commitment to the organization and wish her the best in this new phase of life.

To ensure a seamless transition, the Executive Committee officers, led by Chair Lisa Bos, will serve as the search committee and engage a professional search firm to identify the next President and CEO. The goal is to appoint a successor by Fall of 2026. Until then, things will remain business as usual.
