I did attend the public session of the Brown County Planning, Development and Transportation Committee, along with so many others. I appreciated hearing the perspectives of so many standing against these data centers.
I share the concerns regarding use of our land, pollution to our water, noise pollution and concern over wildlife.
It seems AI has taken over many aspects of our daily lives- both personally and even in our jobs. I pledge to reduce my personal use of AI, including to write social media posts!
I promise to continue researching this issue and am open to input!

During my recent door-to-door outreach, I encountered concerns regarding the proliferation of data centers in our area. A recent drive to Chicago underscored the vast scale of these facilities. Notably, the Vantage Center in Port Washington, upon completion, will cover approximately 672 acres. Concerns are widespread across party lines regarding the impact of these centers on natural resources and potential long-term consequences.

A public meeting is scheduled for tomorrow at 5:10 pm at 305 E Walnut, Suite 200, in Green Bay, offering an opportunity for stakeholders to gain insight and express apprehensions.

On this Memorial Day, I take a moment to honor the memory of Specialist Clinton Robert Upchurch from Garden City, Kansas, who tragically lost his life 20 years ago during Operation Iraqi Freedom. I think about his Gold Star family left behind as well.

I remain eternally grateful for the sacrifices made by numerous individuals who have protected and preserved our great nation. May their legacies inspire us to lead lives worthy of their ultimate sacrifice.
