Serving youth in Northeast Wisconsin through 1:1 mentoring relationships. It takes LITTLE to be BIG! A BIG is another word for a mentor.

We provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported 1-to-1 mentoring relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. Our Bigs come from diverse backgrounds just like our Littles. They are regular people, just like you. You don’t need any special degrees or job skills. You just have to want to positively impact a young person. Role models come in all shapes and sizes, and you could be a perfect fit. Our first match at the Denmark Before and After School Program! 💚 Meet Big Sister Allison and Little Sister Claire!

We’re so thankful to partner with the Denmark Before and After School Program this year to make matches like this possible.

As a high school Big, Allison has the opportunity to gain volunteer experience and build leadership skills while being a friend and mentor to Claire!

Exploring nature and making memories together! 💚🌿

Matches spent time exploring Baird Creek! Using dip nets and identification charts, they searched for tiny creek critters called macroinvertebrates and learned what they can tell us about the creek’s water quality. 🔎💧

Thank you to Baird Creek Preservation Foundation for hosting this hands-on adventure and helping our matches discover something new together!

It’s New Match Monday! 💚 Meet Big Brother Tralan and Little Brother Kevin!

They were matched in August and have a lot of interests in common. They’ve spent time together at the arcade, grabbed pizza, and gone bowling, just to name a few of their outings. 🎳

We can’t wait to see their friendship grow and all the memories they’ll make together!

One of the sweetest things is seeing how much a Big and Little look forward to being together. 💚

Big Club meets during the school year, and while the program was on break for the summer, Little Sister Jakira told her Program Specialist that she missed her Big. When the message was passed along, Big Sister Ara had the sweetest response:

“Oh my gosh! I miss her more. Working with her has been one of the biggest blessings in my life truly! I am so excited to see her again.”

Now that Big Club is back this fall, Ara and Jakira have been able to reconnect and jump right back into spending time together, including a little slime-making fun. 😊

It’s a simple reminder of what mentoring can mean: having someone in your corner who cares, shows up, and looks forward to spending time with you.
