🏊‍♂️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♂️ 36 HOURS. ENDLESS IMPACT. 💜

From July 23–25, Brian and Nicole will take on the incredible Washington Island Ultra Triathlon pushing themselves for 36 straight hours to support survivors of domestic violence served by Golden House.

Their challenge represents the strength, resilience, and determination survivors show every day. While the race will eventually end, the journey to safety and healing continues for many individuals and families in our community.

🐾 Meet Bogey! 🐾

Golden House is excited to introduce Bogey, one of our new volunteer therapy dogs! 💜

Bogey recently stopped by to meet our staff and is already winning hearts. As a volunteer therapy dog, he will help bring comfort, support, and a calming presence to survivors and children who come through our doors.

Sometimes healing starts with a wagging tail, a gentle nuzzle, or simply having a furry friend by your side. We are grateful for volunteers like Bogey and his handler who help make Golden House a place of hope, healing, and safety.

Did you know you can support survivors of domestic violence by hosting your own fundraiser for Golden House? We are so grateful for the incredible community members, businesses, and groups who organize events and drives on our behalf. Your creativity and generosity help make our life-saving services possible!
There are so many fun ways to get involved:

🍋 Host a lemonade stand or bake sale
👖 Organize a dress-down day at work
🎂 Celebrate a birthday or special occasion with donations instead of gifts
🏃 Plan a fun run, fitness class, or tournament
🎟️ Hold a raffle or game night with friends

The mission of Golden House is to provide safety and support for victims of domestic violence, while leading community efforts to end domestic abuse. Golden House is a local, nonprofit agency service Brown County and the greater Green Bay Area.

🦅💜 A huge thank you to Connor for choosing Golden House for his Eagle Scout Project!

Connor built two rolling carts to help make outdoor yard care easier for our team, as well as a deck box to store balls, chalk, and other fun outdoor items for the children staying in shelter.

His thoughtful project will help us keep our outdoor spaces organized and ensure that kids at Golden House have easy access to toys and activities to enjoy.

Thank you, Connor, for your hard work, creativity, and dedication to making a lasting impact on the families we serve! 🌟🏡💜

📚💜 A huge thank you to three amazing 8th grade students from Leonardo da Vinci School!

As part of their 8th grade service project, these thoughtful students created a beautiful bookshelf for our café at Golden House. This special addition will help create a warm and welcoming space for the families we serve.

As part of their project, they will also be presenting to their classmates and sharing more about Golden House and the work we do to support survivors of domestic violence in our community.
