The City of Greeley Candidate Forum was held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, in the City Council Chambers, from 6:30-8:30 pm. The Greeley Evans School District 6 Candidate Forum will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 6:30-8:00 pm in the School District Board room. The forum will be in-person and available later for viewing on the LWV Greeley-Weld YouTube Channel.

Public wishing to attend in person should enter the School District #6 building from the door on 11th Street and from the back of the Board room.

2024 COLORADO & GREELEY BALLOT ISSUES FORUM

A free, virtual forum on the eleven (14) statewide ballot Issues and four (4) City of Greeley ballot issues will be held from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm, Thursday, October 17, 2024. Ballot issues will be explained and arguments pro and con will be presented. This is an educational forum but presenters will respond to questions if time permits.

LEGISLATIVE CANDIDATE FORUM

The LWV Greeley-Weld County hosted a local legislative Candidate Forum by Zoom webinar on Thursday, September 26, 2024. The forum feature candidates running for office in Colorado Legislative House Districts 50 and 64 and Senate District 13. All candidates were invited to participate. Candidates responded to prepared and audience questions related to key topics and issues and how they would represent constituents in these legislative districts. Resilience to climate change is the topic for the League of Women Voters March 21st meeting. UNC climate scientist Dr. Cindy Shellito will speak at a 6:30 pm March 21st Zoom Virtual meeting. Shellito will show how to respond to the global climate challenge and will help us understand how to apply practical knowledge to adapt and reduce negative impacts locally.
Dr. Shellito and her team are working on projects at the University of Northern Colorado to build climate change resilience. The meeting will be shown subsequently on the League YouTube channel.
