We are pleased to announce the hiring of a Class III special officer Christopher Wojtach that will be assigned to the Great Meadows Regional School disctrict campus. Officer Wojtach was sworn in on Nov 10th at the township meeting and began on Dec 1st. We are pleased to be able to add this layer of security to our schools which will increase the safety to all students and staff. Thank you to the parents who supported the idea of this program over the past few years and to the school administrators for sharing our vision of a safer school environment and getting it up and running.

Thank you Ken Moose, owner of Moose Safety Supply inc. @ https://moosesafetysupply.com for your continued support of our Department. Ken has hand delivered pies from Donaldsons Farm during the holidays to our officers on duty for many years. He also provided Thanksgiving meals from Mattar's Bistro this year for the officers who were unable to be home for the holiday. We are grateful for your continued dedication and support to our front line workers.

We would like to congratulate and welcome two new police officers that will be joining our agency. Ptl. Carbone and Ptl. Castner graduated after 21 weeks at the Morris County Public Safety Training Academy. They will now begin our field training program and look forward to serving the community. Ptl. We are currently investigating an incident that took place last night in Woodmont where a vehicle was taken. If you are able to identify the tow company or have any information, please contact Det.
