Two dogs were seen running loose in the area of Petersburg Rd and Ryan Rd on the evening of 7/24. The dog pictured is currently with the animal control officer. His brother who has a similar appearance is still on the loose. If you have information on the owners or locate the dog please call the ACO or patrol.

**Press Release**

On 06/21/2026 at approximately 6:02 pm patrol officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with injuries in the area of 945 Rt. 517. Preliminary investigation determined two motorcycles traveling northbound on Rt. 517 collided causing both to lose control. One driver was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other driver was transported to Morristown Hospital in serious but stable condition. Rt. 517 was shut down until approximately 9:30 pm. The accident remains under investigation.
