Officer Aaron Wood grew up in Rock Hill, SC. After working in construction, Wood began his law enforcement career at Great Falls Police Department in May, 2024. He graduated from South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy on October 4, 2024. Wood currently lives in Heath Springs, SC and has 4 children, Aspen, Re*****on, Taytum, and Logan.

Meet Your Officers:

Lieutenant Michael Williams grew up in Chicago, Illinois and graduated Crete Monee High School in 2017. He moved to South Carolina in 2020. Michael started his career in Law Enforcement at Winnsboro Public Safety on July 17, 2021. Michael started at Great Falls Police Department in March 2024 after working for Richland County Sheriff's Office. Michael is a patrol officer who is also drone certified and oversees the FTO program for new officers. Michael and his girlfriend Sarah currently live in Columbia, SC.

Meet Your Officers:

Interim Chief Angie Black, Angie has always lived in the Great Falls Community and graduated from Great Falls High School in 1993. Angie started her career in law enforcement on December 10, 2000 at Winnsboro Public Safety where she spent 22 years dedicated to her profession and the community she served. Angie started with Great Falls as a reserve officer in January 2024 and went full time in April 2024 as the department's Administrative Major. Angie has two sons, Shaun and Tommy and two grandchildren, SJ and Caelynn. She is a member of Mt. Zion Baptist church in the Mitford community and participates with the Lord's Lunchbox at Second Baptist Church.
