CERT - Cascade County, Montana Cascade County, MT, Community Emergency Response Team consisting of volunteers serving the community.

Cascade County started its CERT program in 2005 when it trained and certified its first class of CERT volunteers. Cascade County continues to offer this basic CERT training course about once a year. Cascade County CERTs hold monthly meetings and conduct ongoing training and exercises as often as possible. Cascade County CERTs are very active in volunteering their services at local planned events—i

ncluding providing first aid at the State Fair each year, helping with the annual Cascade City-County Health Department flu shot clinics, participating in airport disaster drills, providing traffic control at air shows and parades, just to name only a few.

During wildfire season, it's important to know the evacuation levels. An evacuation warning means "Be Ready" to evacuate and take steps to prepare. An evacuation order means "Go Now," and waiting to leave could put you, your family, livestock, pets, and first responders at risk. Prepare a "go kit" and an evacuation plan now to save precious time to respond.
