As we close out the 2023–2025 grant period, we reflect with deep gratitude on the vital work carried out by our dedicated VWAS team. While numbers help illustrate our reach, they represent far more than statistics - they tell a story of resilience and reflect thousands of moments of support, advocacy, and compassion in the lives of those affected by crime.
July 1, 2023 –June 30, 2025:
⚖️ 1,661 new criminal incidents supported
🧾 52,947 services provided to or on behalf of:
🔹 1,650+ crime victims
🚨 143 in-person emergency/crisis responses
🧸 179 forensic interviews attended at the Cascade County Child Advocacy Center
📌 Each of these represents a survivor met with empathy, a family supported through crisis, and a voice uplifted in the justice system. Our advocates walk beside victims through some of their most difficult moments, ensuring they are not alone.
📌 Each service delivered represents a critical moment in a survivor’s journey - whether it’s providing emotional support, helping navigate the legal system, coordinating safety planning, or simply being a steady presence during a time of uncertainty.
🗣Thank you to our staff, board members, partners, community, and funders for making this work possible. Together, we are building a stronger, more compassionate response to crime in our community 💙💜🤍 🩵
Please keep us in mind when making charitable contributions - every dollar helps us continue to provide services and be present for those who need us most.
