This week, Central Montana K9 was invited to present at the Montana Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons Advisory Council’s annual in-person meeting. We discussed our team’s capabilities and, more broadly, how K9s can serve as force multipliers during search and rescue missions.
In attendance were representatives from Montana Tribal Nations, federal investigators and agents, forensic anthropology experts, Indian Health Service, Unchained, and the Montana Attorney General’s Office.
We also heard from family members of the missing and murdered, including the mother of Hanna Harris, whose tragic murder led to the passage of Hanna’s Law.
We were honored to receive the invitation to speak and are committed to providing continued support and assistance to our Tribal Nation neighbors whenever needed.
