At approximately 9:42am, Morgan County WV E911 struck the 2-2 Box for the reported mobile home fire on Rockford Road.

Engine 21 responded 3 minutes later under the direction of Sergeant Kidwell with a staffing of 4, followed moments later by Tanker 2. Engine 21 arrived on scene less than a minute later reporting a fully involved mobile home fire. Safety 402 initiated fire attack and was quickly backed up by FF Brown and Sergeant Kidwell. Berkeley Springs Volunteer Fire Company Engine 12 arrived on scene shortly after with FF Sipe and FF Cunningham assisting with fire attack.

The fire was brought under control within an hour. Fireground operations were complete and Command was terminated at approximately 11:30.

We would like to thank all mutual aid companies who responded to assist.

Friendly reminder with the upcoming weather. If you have a hydrant on or near your property. If you have time, and are able, clear it of snow 3 feet in every direction. It will make first responders' jobs easier in case of an emergency at or near your home!
