Drip irrigation helps provide consistent moisture that helps plants thrive and builds soil health. We are looking forward to this partner event happening Saturday morning at the new community garden at 17th and Stone in Great Bend!
The Barton County Conservation District carries drip irrigation components and tubing. We can help you plan or work out bugs in your system.

Saturday, June 13 we will have a drip irrigation workshop at the community garden from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. weather permitting. Drip irrigation, coupled with a timer, provides the kind of consistent soil conditions tha tallow plants to thrive and helps build soil through the action of microorganisms that live in soil. This is a great chance to help build the community garden and learn something practical and useful for home! If you have questions, contact Veronica at the Barton County Conservation District for more details.
