This vote is SO important!!! Kansans vote on a ballot amendment Aug. 4, that if passed would change the selection of Kansas Supreme Court justices from a merit-based system to partisan elections. We are excited to partner with Women For Kansas Great Bend/Barton County and of Great Bend-Barton County to bring you "Mapping the Gap," a community art piece illustrating the lived experiences of access to affordable health care in Kansas.

We hope you'll join us at the on Thursday, June 11 at 5:00pm for a reception celebrating this artwork, which was created by Kansans across the state.

Next Thursday evening, June 11th, from 5-6 pm, we have a special art show being put on by the Alliance for a Healthy Kansas. Join us for a reception to celebrate “Mapping the Gap,” a powerful, collaborative, textile art piece made by Kansans representing their experiences with the healthcare system. This includes Kansans who have lived or are living without coverage and without access to affordable health care. Visitors will be able to not only see pieces up close but also read personal stories illustrated within the work. For the reception, we will have light refreshments, and Alliance staff will be on hand to answer questions. The exhibit will be on display through the month of June.
