All in for Ag Education Week is coming up VERY SOON & we hope you will spend Monday, September 21st with us for a Virtual Field Trip! Through this experience, your students will get to:

⭐️ Participate in a LIVE virtual field trip at Meade Tractor, hosted by Commissioner Shell!
⭐️ Learn about equipment safety, with opportunity to ask live questions via chat.
⭐️ Submit questions ahead of time to be answered during the field trip.
⭐️ Participate in the Ask an Aggie Panel, featuring Commissioner Jonathan Shell, Commissioner Fletcher & other featured guests!

We look forward to bringing this experience to life to support Kentucky’s All in for Ag Education Week!

Happy September and new 4-H program year! With it being a new program year, you will have to register to receive information via email and to participate in any activities. September 3rd is the "Get the Scoop" open house event where you can come and register your kiddo. You can also register them at the first club meeting they attend.

Come to the Carter County Extension Office on September 3rd from 5:30pm-6:30pm to enjoy an ice cream bar while you see what 4-H is about and get your students registered for the new program year!

Do you have a youth that is interested in showing 4-H livestock for the 2027 fair season? We are hosting a mandatory meeting on September 14th at 6:00pm. If your child is interested but unsure if they want to commit, still show up to this meeting to get the information. This is for all new and returning 4-H showman for this next year. If your child wishes to show but cannot attend this meeting, please email [email protected].

Come check out the youth exhibits at the Carter County Fair through Friday August 14th, from 6:00-8:00 PM!

We are so proud of the hard work and creativity these young exhibitors have put into their projects. Everyone of of these kids did an awesome job! Be sure to stop by and see their great work! 🎉👏

Next week is the Carter County Fair! If you want to enter projects into the Exhibit Hall, you can find the categories on the fair website, or just bring your projects to check in and we will help you find the correct category.
