City of Grayson Mayor Troy P. Combs III proudly administered the oath of office to new police officer Justin Tolliver in a memorable ceremony attended by family, friends, and fellow officers.
Surrounded by support from Zach Keesee, City Administrator Joe Hammer, former Chief Tony Cantrell, Justin Stone, Sergeants Kyle Smith, Jason Hall and Wes Boggs, Tolliver marked the start of his service to the community with confidence and honor.
Senator Robin Webb also witnessed the oath of office, adding to the significance of the occasion and underscoring the strong support behind Grayson’s newest officer as he begins this important role.

Subject: Investigation into Solicitation for Money – Matter Resolved
Grayson, KY β€” The Grayson Police Department has concluded an investigation involving a male individual who was reportedly asking members of the public for money.
Officers were made aware of the situation after receiving information from concerned citizens. Upon investigation, law enforcement was able to identify the individual involved and make contact with him. After addressing the matter directly, a resolution was reached at this time.
The individual has been advised accordingly, and as of now, no criminal charges have been filed. The department will continue to monitor the situation and encourages citizens to report any suspicious or concerning activity.
The Grayson Police Department remains committed to serving and protecting the community through proactive engagement and appropriate resolution of incidents.
