Fiddlehead School of Arts & Sciences (FSAS) was approved February, 5th by the Maine Charter School Commision to become one of Maine's first Public Charter School. Fiddlehead School of Arts & Sciences is a non-profit 501-c-3 organization, goverened by a voulnteer Board of Directors. Guided by core values and inspired by Reggio Emilia, child-centered and placed based approach to learning, the region

al School opened, Fall 2013, with 45 students in pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade (ages 4- 7). Plans included expansion by one grade level per year culminating with 8th grade beginning, September, 2021.

We have a few afterschool enrichment positions open. We are looking for scientists (wizardry if chemistry and more!) and artists (Performing and viaual artists). Monday thru Thursday 3 to 5 p.m AND Fridays from noon to 5 p.m.
