ANOTHER Cold Weather Reminder ❄️🐾
We were dispatched to a call this evening regarding two dogs left outside without proper shelter or water. Thankfully, we were able to address the situation, but it’s a reminder we really shouldn’t have to make.
These types of calls are completely avoidable, and we want to make sure this doesn’t happen to another one of Jones County’s sweet furry friends.
Please remember your furry friends during this cold weather. As a general rule, if temperatures drop below 40 degrees, pets should be brought inside. If that’s absolutely not possible, they must have proper shelter, dry bedding, fresh water, and a heat source such as a heat lamp—a dog or cat house alone is not enough.
If it’s too cold for you, it’s too cold for them. If you need help, please reach out to our office—we are always here to help. Let’s all do our part to keep pets safe, warm, and cared for. 🐶🐱❤️
Together, we've got this.
