📣 Gravette High School cheer will host the Lion Cheer Invitational Competition this fall, bringing exhibition and recreational squads together for a day of athletic showcase and competition. Teams from across the region can sign up now to display their skills on the arena floor.

Squads can participate in Traditional Performance routines, Game Day demonstrations, or individual skill contests. Spectator admission is $5 per person, and children ages two and under enter free. Concessions will be open throughout the day to support visiting families and teams.

Submit your team registration by October 24 to secure your spot before division rosters fill up. Gather your team, polish your routines, and get ready to bring the energy to the floor this November. 🦁🧡

🦅 Students and staff across Gravette Schools paused today to reflect on September 11 and honor those who served. Classrooms held moments of silence and participated in history lessons that focused on service, courage, and unity.

Taking time to discuss these historic events helps our students build respect for public service and understand the strength of united communities. Thank you to our local emergency personnel and military families who support our school district every day. 🦁🧡

🏈 Friday nights have a new look in Gravette! This new display will transform the game day experience by bringing video features, sharp graphic visuals, and real-time statistics straight to the stands.

The project came together through fundraising led by Jake Beem, Brad Hill, and the Go Lions Booster Club. Generous support from local partners helped turn those community efforts into a board fans can experience each game night.

🏰 Step into a fairytale for homecoming week with this year's Disney theme, Once Upon a Homecoming. Get ready to show your school spirit starting on Monday, October 5th, leading into Friday's main event on October 9th.

🎓 Monday: Monsters University with college gear or jerseys
😴 Tuesday: Sleeping Beauties with pajamas
👯 Wednesday: Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum by matching with a friend or teacher
🌺 Thursday: Ohana with Hawaiian shirts and gear
🦁 Friday: Lion King with class colors for high schoolers and orange and black for middle and elementary students

Friday brings the entire community together for a full day of celebration. Watch the parade roll through town at 10:00 a.m. before high schoolers head to the afternoon pep rally at 2:00 p.m. The energy builds all day leading into the evening coronation at 6:30 p.m.

🎗️ Gravette is going GOLD! Gravette School District is joining surrounding Northwest Arkansas schools to Go Gold on Thursday, September 10, 2026, for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Wear gold/yellow apparel to school and work to support local children and families affected by pediatric cancer.

Wearing gold brings attention to the need for pediatric cancer research funding and treatment options. Local students in our district continue to navigate cancer diagnoses as fighters, survivors, and remembered loved ones. Showing up in gold across our school buildings demonstrates community unity and keeps attention focused on these health challenges.

As a reminder, school is out September 5 through September 8 for Labor Day weekend. Classes resume on Wednesday, September 9.

🤝 GHS Project Prom is an annual event that provides Gravette High School juniors and seniors with a safe celebration full of food and prizes after the formal dance. They have officially invited all interested parents and guardians to learn more at the first meeting of the year.
