A few weeks ago, our department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident where a vehicle had gone approximately 20 feet down an embankment into a creek. The vehicle was on it's side and very unstable, our crews responded to the technical rescue, worked together, where Captain J. Drew was able to safely rescue the patient out of the vehicle. Today, that individual and his wife stopped by the station, to bring the crew breakfast and to thank us. Moments like these serve as a reminder of why we do what we do. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our community and humbled by their kindness and support. Thank you both for taking the time to visit us today and for the thoughtful gesture. We are thankful that you are here and recovering.
This is what community is all about.
