RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM THIS EVENING

A red flag warning has been issued for much of Minnesota due to the extreme risk for fire throughout the state, including kanabec and surrounding counties. The warning is in effect from noon to 7 p.m. due to the predicted forecast, which includes rising temperatures, strong winds and low humidity.

Any fires that develop will spread rapidly.
No open burning is allowed, and permits are not activated per the MN DNR.

As we know, Grasston has had multiple fires in the last year. We ask that you please pay attention to warnings to avoid any further damages, as well as risking the safety of yourself and Neighbors.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made Santa Days a success! It was amazing to see so many kiddos visiting Santa and Mrs. Claus one last time before they go back to the North Pole for Christmas Eve!

A special thank you to the City Treasurer, Darcy, for putting so much time, coordination, and thought into the event. It truly wouldnโ€™t happen without her.

A special thank you to our City Deputy Clerk, Bridgit, who made and donated ALL of the cookies and the frosting that were available for decorating, as well as the time she put in helping everywhere else!

A special thank you to the Lions Club for doing our goodie bags after visiting Santa!

And of course a big thank you to everyone who came out in the cold, because of course the event wouldnโ€™t be possible at all without you.

Happy Holidays! ๐ŸŽ„
