*** Road Closure Update***
The placement of the box culvert in the bridge replacement project at Browns Run on Rolling Stone RD has lead to the roadway being reopened to normal two way traffic. The expected end date of the projected was for early October. With the opening of the roadway there could potentially still have work activities along the roadway within the construction area.

For the month of August Grassflat Volunteer Fire Company responded to a total of 8 calls. The 8 calls this month brings the total year to date to a total of 95 incidents. Even thought 7 of the 8 calls were within Cooper Township. None of the calls were in our primary area in the Township.

3 Motor Vehicle Accident
1 Vehicle Fire
1 Landing Zone
