During the month of April we responded to a total of 16 calls. We handled a total of 5 calls in Grassflat's primary area. From January to the end of April we have handled a total of 49 calls.

Stop by this Saturday and see our friends at the Karthaus Vol. Fire Co. for their spring craft show! Our very own, Jolene, will be there selling 2026 Mega Bash tickets as well.

We are just ONE WEEK away from our Craft Show! 🎉 Saturday, May 2nd!

Vendors, please make sure your payment is submitted if you haven’t already. We’re so excited to have you join us!

Indoor vendors – tables and two chairs will be provided for you.
Outdoor vendors – please plan to bring your own tables and chairs.

Desserts and Moore will be set up outside with delicious baked goods 🍪
The St. Mary’s Church ladies will be inside serving hot food, so come hungry!

Be sure to check out the Chinese auction items at each vendor’s table and take your chances. Winners will be drawn during the final hour of the show.

Shortly after 2200 hrs Clearfield County Department of Public Safety alerted Grassflat Volunteer Fire Company to assist Winburne Fire Company Number One with a vehicle fire on the west bound off ramp of Interstate 80 and Kylertown Drifting HWY. Initial reports at the time of the call was a fully engulfed pickup on the roadway. Engine Tanker 19 arrived on scene behind Engine Tanker 18. Engine Tanker 19 placed a supply line in service to support the attack line deployed from Engine Tanker 18. Morris Township Volunteer Fire Company #1 was requested for the closure of the ramp while the fire was being extinguished. The Ramp was closed for a short period of time and reopened after the vehicle was removed.
