There’s something special about making music together! The Encore Singers gather each week to sing, laugh, make new friends, and enjoy a wonderful mix of favorite classics and contemporary tunes.

No singing experience needed — just bring your smile and your love of music! Whether you’re a shower soloist, longtime choir member, or somewhere in between, you’ll feel right at home.

Walk-ins are always welcome!

Don’t miss the Encore Singers at the LCCC Open House on Tuesday, September 15, from 6 - 7 p.m. as part of our community’s 250-Year Celebration.

They’ll be sharing songs with an Ohio connection for an evening full of music, memories, and Ohio pride.

Our newest Artful Expressions Program had everyone hooked—literally!

Participants joined Kathleen for a fun, hands-on introduction to latch hook, discovering just how relaxing and rewarding it can be to turn colorful yarn and a simple canvas grid into a soft, textured work of art.

What a beautiful summer day for Fresh Blooms! Our August workshop, Lush Hydrangea, brought together creativity, color, and a whole lot of gorgeous flowers.

Our floral designer, Sylvia, guided participants in creating stunning fresh arrangements featuring the lovely and luscious hydrangea.

Sylvia shared design tips and tricks to help everyone create an arrangement they could enjoy at home.

What a Wednesday at the LCCC! The day was packed with learning, moving, creating, connecting, laughing, and maybe a little friendly competition for good measure!

With activities like Stretch & Strength, Lunch & Learn, Cardio Drumming, Canasta, and Canvas Connections, there are plenty of ways to try something new at the LCCC!

That’s what we love about LCCC: there’s always something happening, someone to connect with, and another reason to smile!

Our Meet, Eat & A Little Adventure group had a blast when they visited Johnstown!

The Meet & Eat kicked off with a delicious lunch at El Rey Mexican Restaurant with good food and great company!

After lunch, the group visited the Create Joy Studio, where they created colorful works of art by painting ceramic pieces — from whimsical spoon rests to beautiful rice bowls.

Everyone painted their pottery pieces with colorful patterns and meaningful sayings. It was a fun day of creating art and making memories while sharing an adventure together!

Tomorrow!

Stop by the Licking County Community Center at the Bryn Du Mansion Campus for our Discover LCCC Open House on Tuesday, July 21, from 5–6:30 p.m.

Guests are invited to take a guided tour and enjoy light refreshments. We’ll also have a fun musical instrument craft for the kids!

You'll get a firsthand look at everything the LCCC has to offer Licking County’s 60+ adults and learn about our nearly 50 weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly programs, including:

• Arts & creativity — acrylic art, watercolor, dulcimer class, and more
• Fitness & movement — chair volleyball, pickleball, tai chi, yoga, line dancing
• Games & cards — euchre, bingo, mah jongg, canasta
• Lifelong learning — iPhone classes, book club, writing club
• Social clubs, volunteer opportunities, and lunches

As a bonus, we're timing our Open House alongside the Granville Recreation District Concert on the Green, which kicks off at 6:30 p.m. right after our event ends.

Red, white, and B-I-N-G-O! was the winning combination in downtown Granville during the annual Fourth of July celebration!

A huge thank you to the Granville Recreation District for hosting this fun community tradition and generously donating the event proceeds to LCCC.

We’re also incredibly grateful to the Rotary Club of Granville, Ohio volunteers who helped keep the games running smoothly, and to everyone who came out to play.

The tent was filled with patriotic spirit, friendly competition, laughter, and plenty of excited shouts of “B-I-N-G-O!”

We hope to see everyone next year!
